Update on Upcoming Events in Egypt:

Due to the current security situation in the Gulf region and recent international travel warnings regarding Egypt, the Pro Golf Tour has reassessed the upcoming events. The safety of all players and staff remains our top priority.

  • The March tournaments (10–12 March 2026 and 15–17 March 2026) have been cancelled.

  • The April tournaments (7–9 April 2026 and 12–14 April 2026) will be relocated from Cairo to Ain Sokhna, provided that the regional conditions allow the events to take place safely. The new entry deadline for both April events is 19 March 2026.

Further updates will follow. Thank you for your understanding.

All events in Morocco postponed due to Corona

Season 2020

Today the Pro Golf Tour (PGT) officials announced that all the Order of Merit tournaments scheduled for Morocco in the next few weeks will be postponed to a later date. In view of the current global corona crisis, the tournaments Open Océan 2020, Open Tazegzout 2020, Open Madaef Golfs 2020 and Open Michlifen 2020 are planned to be rescheduled later in the year.

Munich – “It is with great regret that we have to announce that the corona crisis has now also had a direct impact on the Pro Golf Tour schedule,” say Peter Zäh and Rainer Goldrian, the two Managing Directors of the tour. “We have decided not to hold the tournaments as planned in Morocco in the interests of protecting the health of our players, the tournament staff and the hosts at the golf clubs.”

This decision was made in close cooperation with the Association du Trophée Hassan II de Golf, the Pro Golf Tour tournament partner in Morocco. Those responsible hope to be able to make up for these four tournaments at a later date.

Besides the risk of infection, the increasingly difficult travel situation is another reason for the Pro Golf Tour to postpone these tournaments. This gives all those involved a little more planning security.
