Update on Upcoming Events in Egypt:

Due to the current security situation in the Gulf region and recent international travel warnings regarding Egypt, the Pro Golf Tour has reassessed the upcoming events. The safety of all players and staff remains our top priority.

  • The March tournaments (10–12 March 2026 and 15–17 March 2026) have been cancelled.

  • The April tournaments (7–9 April 2026 and 12–14 April 2026) will be relocated from Cairo to Ain Sokhna, provided that the regional conditions allow the events to take place safely. The new entry deadline for both April events is 19 March 2026.

Rory McNamara triumphs in Casablanca

With a flawless final round 63 Rory McNamara from Ireland secured himself his maiden win as a professional in Casablanca/Morocco.

Casablanca/Morocco − After 54 holes of the Open The Tony Jacklin the 26 year old from County Meath in Ireland had scored a total 16 under par what gave him a one shot lead over German Maximilian Walz and Bernard Neumayer from Austria who shared second place with -15.

"My putting was the key to success", McNamara said. Scoring rounds of 68 and 69 on days 1 and 2 in Casablanca he shot a brilliant round 63 with an eagle and seven birdies on the final day of the tournament.

For McNamara who turned pro in October 2014 it was his first win as a professional and with 63 shots on the final day he also scored his lowest round so far. "The golf course was in pretty good shape", he said, "the greens were nice and I was able to attack the flag."

With this win and 5000 Euro prize money McNamara moved up to 3rd place in the Pro Golf Tour Order of Merit. Christopher Mivis from Belgium is the new No. 1, 2nd place in the rankings is taken by Antoine Schwartz from France.
