Bad Bramstedt/Germany − "That really was a very cool week! I am very happy!", Mejow said after he had birdied his final hole of the 16th tournament of the 2015 season and received his second trophy this year; in January he had won the Red Sea Ain Sokhna Classic in Egypt. This week the 27 year old from Berlin realizied his triumph in the most convincing way possible when he equalled the course record 64 on the first day and added rounds of 68 and 69 onto his tournament vita.

The golf course of the Golf & Country Club Gut Bissenmoor just on the outskirts of Bad Bramstedt, a city north of Hamburg, presented itself in a very good shape and was even more demanding than last year: "The rough was much higher and the fairways at the same time were quite a bit more narrow than they were last year", Mejow said. Both made the par 71 golf course more challenging what was in the later champion's favour. "I quite like more difficult golf courses", Mejow said. After he had chipped in on the 6th hole in his final round he was sure to be able to take the trophy home.

With this win Philipp Mejow is not only a two time winner this season, collects 5000 euro prize money and 5000 points for the Pro Golf Tour Order of Merit: He also is taking pole position again in the overall rankings, pushing back Dutchman Reinier Saxton to runner-up position.

The next event of the 2015 Pro Golf Tour is the LOTOS Polish Open in Wejherowo in Poland. Then for the first time in its history the Pro Golf Tour will also provide points for the Official World Golf Ranking.
