Ramsau/Austria – „When I arrived I was quite sure you couldn’t build a single golf-hole here. But the Golfclub Adamstal is truly amazing. A phenomenal golf course with a magnificent scenery and exciting holes!“ Nicolai von Dellingshausen showed himself impressed by the hosting location of the twelfth Pro Golf Tour tournament in 2017, and also impressed the spectators on the par-70-course with a fantastic finish: After he had to note a double-bogey on hole 15, a 452 meter par 5,  his one-stroke-advance to Frenchman Stanislav Gautier turned into a two-stroke one-stroke-decline. But with two birdies on 17 and 18 von Dellingshausen came back into the game. As both players reached the playoff with each 5 strokes under par, the man from Düsseldorf kept the momentum and secured himself the win by playing par on the first extra hole, as Stanislas Gautier couldn’t hold the up&down of the 18th hole green bunker. The third rank goes to Robbie van West from the Netherlands and Germans Sean Einhaus and Patrick Kopp (each-2). With 1 under par Portuguese Pedro Figueiredo achieved the fourth place on the leaderboard.

„The last two weeks were extraordinary“, von Dellingshausen, who finished the event in St. Pölten a few days ago as second, said. „My drives, the iron-shots and also the putting – everything works pretty reliably. And my results prove that“, the professional of the GC Hubbelrath figured out. After the Open Tazegzout in late March it’s already the second victory for von Dellingshausen, which makes him the new leader of the Pro Golf Tour Order of Merit with 20.353 ranking points, followed by Englishman Ben Parker (15774,03 points). Just like Parker, he only needs one more victory to achieve a guaranteed tourcard for the European Challenge Tour.

The Pro Golf Tour players will take a break until the Austerlitz Classic in Czech Republic begins on June 12.
