Starting with the 2015 season there is also admission to the Pro Golf Tour via its own qualifying school from the next tournament season onwards. During a two-day stroke play tournament over 36 holes, professionals and amateurs who have not achieved a good classification through the 2014 season's final tour ranking list can compete for a tour category and in this way secure the right to tee off in particular at the tournaments that are regularly fully booked at the start of the season as well as tournaments with limited starting fields. The Qualifying School for the 2015 season is taking place on 13^th and 14^th October 2014 at the Golfsportclub Rheine/Mesum.
