During the 2014 golf season, the Pro Golf Tour is presenting 20 tournaments in total stopping in six countries: Turkey and Morocco, Egypt, Germany, Austria and Poland. Each event is endowed with prize money of at least EUR 30,000 and at the end the best players of the year are promoted to the Challenge Tour 2015. New: amateurs can also work for this direct promotion opportunity for the first time as from now on the Pro Golf Tour ranking list will be in points. That means: each euro won practically by the professionals or theoretically by participating amateurs equals one point. Those with the most points are promoted.
