Update on Upcoming Events in Egypt:

Due to the ongoing conflict in the Gulf region, the Pro Golf Tour is currently reviewing whether the tournaments scheduled to take place in Egypt from 7–14 April 2026 can be held as planned.

The safety and well-being of all players, caddies, officials, and staff remains our highest priority.

At this stage, no final decision has been made. The Pro Golf Tour will make a final decision before the entry deadline on 19 March 2026 and will inform all players immediately once this decision has been taken.

We appreciate your understanding and patience while this evaluation is ongoing.

The April tournaments (7–9 April 2026 and 12–14 April 2026) will be relocated from Cairo to Ain Sokhna, provided that the regional conditions allow the events to take place safely.

Wildcard for Trophée Hassan II

Race to Rabat

It has been worth performing particularly well in the Pro Golf Tour’s tournaments in Morocco in several respects since the 2015 season. On the one hand, the players lay the foundation in North Africa for their possible promotion to the European Challenge Tour later on. But they also have the chance to win a wildcard for the Trophée Hassan II, the European Tour tournament in Morocco.

In the premiere season of the Race to Rabat in 2015, the German Martin Keskari finished best at the then also eight tournaments of the Pro Golf Tour in Morocco. This year, Hurly Long leads the special competition after 7 of 8 events: With 8393.34 points, the German, currently the No. 1 of the Pro Golf Tour Order of Merit as well, before the final Open Michlifen is clear before the Frenchman Edouard Dubois (7460, 00 points) and Allen John, another player from Germany (7212.00 points).

But after winning a stately 40,000 euros in prize money at the Open Michlifen, and correspondingly as many ranking points and points for the Race to Rabat are distributed, it is still completely undecided which member of the Pro Golf Tour may be present when the European Tour comes back to Morocco this year; the winner of the Open Michlifen receives 6666.67 euros.

From 25 to 28 April, the Trophy Hassan II 2019 will take place on the Red Course of Royal Dar Es Salam in Rabat, and the tournament is endowed with a prize money of 2.5 million euros. More at www.hassan2golftrophy.com.
