Pro Golf Tour Virtual Challenge 2022

The Pro Golf Tour Virtual Challenge 2022 is an open tournament for golf professionals which is to be played over two 18-hole rounds on a TrackMan golf simulator. Participating professionals must be members of a national PGA or members of the Pro Golf Tour.

Besides a wildcard/free entry for a Pro Golf Tour event in 2022, the participants also play for a purse of 70% of the net entry fee - i.e. 100 players = 7.000 Euro.

Tournament Course

This picturesque course is located in the Heckengäu rural area at the edge of the Black Forest. Although not too long and with generous fairways in most places, over-ambitious golfers can face certain disaster if they stray too far off line as the trees and bushes are often situated close to the fairways edge..!

Registration

Registration must be done on the Pro Golf Tour website in the log-in area.
Payment before entry close. Only direct debit or credit card after receipt of invoice.  
All players must create a profile in the Pro Golf Tour online entry system (if you don’t have one yet).

Competition Format

The format is 36-hole individual stroke play over two 18-hole rounds.
The maximum number of participants is unlimited.
The rounds must be completed and registered within the specified time interval, Central European official time.
It is permitted to complete several or all rounds of competition on the same day but the rounds must be completed in order.

Tournament rules

General
An indoor tournament is just like an outdoor tournament. Same rules apply.

The competition can only be played at TrackMan facilities. The competition can only be played in a TrackMan simulator with TrackMan Performance Studio version 8.
You compete against other players and appear on the leaderboard. Your score on the leaderboard will be updated after each completed round. You must finish your tournament round within the defined tournament start date/start time and end date/end time.

Tie Rules
If two or more players share the first place, the player with the lowest cumulative score over the last 18, 9, 6, 3, or 1 hole(s) is declared the winner.

Join tournament in TrackMan account
Prior to the tournament you will receive an e-mail from TrackMan with a tournament invite which we`d ask you to accept. Once having logged in at your simulator you will see the Pro Golf Tour Virtual Challenge tournament to select.

You can join a tournament with your mytrackman.com profile, to save some time it would be beneficial to download the TrackMan Golf App to your smartphone beforehand (https://apps.apple.com/de/app/trackman-range/id1245413916). Alternatively, you can create an account when joining the tournament in the simulator. For further questions, your local simulator facility personnel will be able to answer questions on what to do when you are in the simulator bay.

Please note that your TrackMan login needs to be associated to the same e-mail address as you registered for the tournament.

It is required that the participants enter their real name (correct first name and family name) in their TrackMan profile. If a player is using a nickname in his TrackMan profile, then he is asked to change to their real name.

Miscellaneous
Due to the nature of simulator golf, neither TrackMan, or Pro Golf Tour can be held responsible for any technical issues nor any other non-foreseeable issues that may arise and affect the final results, Latest TPS software (Version 8.1) shall be installed, correct lightning in facility, play in facilities with ok putting turf in the simulator bay. Max one trackman profile per player.

The tax payment is the sole responsibility of the player. Pro Golf Tour pays out the relevant prize money.

Players accept that Pro Golf Tour will send their name and e-mail address to TrackMan, the only use is for registration in the TrackMan system for the tournament.

Tournament rounds have to be played in minimum of two balls. This has to be controlled by the tournament host after the scores have been uploaded.

The tournament does not count towards the Pro Golf Tour ranking.
